Galerija Manifesto je kroz program "Slike u pokretu – Ideologije u tranziciji", pokušala revalorizirati upravo takvu političku potentnost i društvenu svrsishodnost filma (i videa). Osim izložbenog, podrazumijeva obrazovni i produkcijski segment.

About the event
The Manifesto Gallery of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the opening of the group exhibition "Video, Video, Video," which will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
The exhibition's title, as a sort of protest chant, encapsulates the Manifesto Gallery's attempt to revitalize the medium of video art on the local art scene by developing a months-long curatorial and production program. The undertone of chanting also signifies the gallery's devotion for this medium and highlights the evident need for strategic investment in its production.
Through the program "Images in Motion – Ideologies in Transition," Manifesto Gallery has aimed to reevaluate the political potency and social relevance of film (and video). In addition to the exhibition segment, the program included educational and production components.
Twelve young artists from various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro had the opportunity to participate in an intensive educational program. Mentors included artist and editor Saša Peševski, professor and producer Amra Bakšić Čamo, editor Daniela Kinateder, and artist and professor Danica Dakić.
The final outcome of this program is five video works by its participants, proudly produced by the Manifesto Gallery. The exhibition "Video, Video, Video" is not just a call to revitalize video art production but also the first step towards its achievement. The exhibition will showcase five newly produced video works by artists Amina Ahmetagić, Melisa Vreto Vitković, Vladimirka Velaga, Iva Bagarić and Ivan Mischenko.
