Predstavljajući istoimeni umjetnički projekat sačinjen od zvučnih radova (Listening series, 2023) i vizualnih radova (Listening, How Did You Get Here, 2016-2023), te video rad My Prisoner (2016), ova izložba posvećena je fenomenima sjećanja, slušanja i izmještanja.

Dedicated to the phenomena of memory, listening, and displacement, this exhibition presents the eponymous art project, which consists of sound works (Listening series, 2023), visual works (Listening, How Did You Get Here, 2016-2023), and the video work My Prisoner (2016).
At the same time, the exhibition is a base for the re-emergence of Radio Elsewheres—a temporary, participatory, and experimental low-frequency radio that will be broadcast from the Kuma International Center for Art in Post-Conflict Societies and online.
About the artist:
Velibor Božović grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. When he was in his twenties, the country of his youth became a war zone and Velibor spent the duration of the siege of Sarajevo honing his survival skills. In 1999, Božović moved to Montréal where, for eight years, he worked as an engineer in aerospace industry until he gave up his engineering career to devote his time fully to exploration of images. Božović earned Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts at Concordia University where he currently teaches. His projects have been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and by Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec (CALQ). In 2015 he was awarded the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellowship in Contemporary Art.
His work has been exhibited in Canada and internationally.
