Hibernacija nije ni izložba, ni performans, ni individualni autorski projekat. Hibernacija je pokušaj Manifesto tima da otvori prostor galerije prema zajednici, tako što će ga pretvoriti u prostor mirovanja, odmora, moguće, ali ne i obavezne interakcije.
Nastala na tragu relacijske estetike, pristupa koji umjesto objekata za gledanje nudi situacije i zajednička iskustva kao umjetnost samu po sebi, Hibernacija će biti ono što mi sami od nje napravimo. Prilika da sjedite sami i bez grižnje savjesti gledate u plafon. Mogućnost da za vrijeme pauze na poslu otkunjate bez da vaše kolege tome svjedoče. Prostor da pijete čaj i čitate, a da vam ne smetaju žamor susjednog stola i muzika u pozadini, ili neoprano suđe u sudoperu.
Sasvim je u redu ukoliko vam ovaj opis zvuči čudno i ukoliko niste sigurni da li želite doći, jer naprosto ne znate šta da očekujete, ali neka vam baš to bude motiv da u periodu od 6. do 28. februara posjetite Manifesto.

About the Exhibition
Hibernation is neither an exhibition, nor a performance, nor an individual artistic project. Hibernation is an attempt by the Manifesto team to open the gallery space to the community by transforming it into a space of stillness, rest, and possible, but not mandatory, interaction.
Emerging from relational aesthetics, an approach that offers situations and shared experiences as art itself rather than objects to be viewed, Hibernation will become whatever we choose to make of it. An opportunity to sit alone and, without guilt, stare at the ceiling. A chance to take a nap during a work break without your colleagues witnessing it. A space to drink tea and read, free from the murmur of the neighboring table and background music, or the pile of unwashed dishes in the sink.
It is completely fine if this description sounds strange to you, or if you are unsure whether you want to come because you simply do not know what to expect. Let that uncertainty be your reason to visit Manifesto between February 6 and 28.
Come and rest. Hibernation exists in nature for a reason.
